Welcome

I created this site to help others find the motivation and inspiration for their own “drive from within”, so that they might be able to make meaningful, impactful, and positive changes in their lives. As I have found through my own experiences – in losing 229.2 lbs. in a two year period, still keeping the weight off five years later, and in the process, completely changing and enriching my life – those changes ultimately must come from within one’s self.

In this site’s blog, affirmations, fitness suggestions, social experiences, recipes and references, I will share my experiences (past and present), observations, practical knowledge, insights, advice, and motivations about finding and sustaining that inner drive, and what it takes to achieve and maintain positive and impactful changes in one’s life. My journey, as is detailed in this site, has elements of Eat, Pray, Love, Julie & Julia, Sex In The City, The Blind Side, and Rachael Ray’s 30 Minute Meal Cookbook, among others, and it is my hope is that you will benefit from what I have experienced, learned and observed, so that you might be helped and inspired to make positive and meaningful changes in your own life.
